The latest wiring regulations mean that many domestic and commercial properties in the Hereford and Worcester areas are in need of a fuse board upgrade or replacement.
Goodridge Electrical Contractors Ltd will replace or upgrade your existing fuse boards to ensure you’re safe and compliant with these new regulations. To discuss your needs, please call us today on 01905 676 366.
Upgrade to the Latest Fuse Boards
The latest (17th) edition of the IEE wiring regulations require homes and businesses to be fitted with fuse boards which provide more extensive residual circuit protection (RCD). If your fuse boards were fitted or installed before the publication of these regulations, it may be time for you to consider a fuse board upgrade.
This is especially true if you’re using an older, re-wireable board. We find that many people use the incorrect fuse wire in these boards (for example making do with a 30A fuse wire when a 5A is required), which can be potentially dangerous.
By replacing these fuse boards, Goodridge Electrical Contractors will ensure that you’re protected, not just by the in-built RCD protection, but by the expertise of an electrician who understands the risk posed by incorrect installation and how to avoid that risk.
RCD Protection is Only the Start
All of the newer fuse boards we install as part of the upgrade process have RCD protection as standard, but that isn’t where your protection begins and ends.
Goodridge Electrical Contractors Ltd offers you a range of guarantees to protect the work we undertake. Our workmanship and professionalism allows us to offer a one year parts and labour guarantee, and ensure that all of our fuseboard upgrades meet the NICEIC Platinum Promise.
Finally, for additional peace of mind, we can offer you an ECA bond to cover our work even further.
