What to expect

As an Electrician for Goodridge Electrical Contractors, you will carry out first and second fix, testing and inspection and also maintenance at a variety of locations. We carry out work in schools, hospitals and factories, as well as both domestic and commercial sites. As we cover a wide area and service clients with specialist demands, you’ll need to be flexible with your working hours, comfortable working either alone or as a team and occasionally working away from home.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

• Work in an organised and efficient manner.
• Comply with all auditable systems and procedures, in a timely and professional manner, in order to maintain company certification and accreditation.
• Maximise individual and team performance through self-development, knowledge sharing, flexibility and a positive approach to work.
• Work safely at all times whilst delivering excellent levels of housekeeping to sustain a safe working environment.
• Remain focussed on quality and value in the eyes of our customers to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

What we’re looking for

To be a success in this role, along with your experience, we will be looking for you to have obtained an NVQ Level 3 qualification in the related subject and have 18th Edition. You’ll also need a full, clean driving licence, and since we work with schools and hospitals, you’ll need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
